Grey Paris
Grey Paris pulls you into an acoustic reverie of high-powered drums, bass,piano and electronic-cinematic effects.
The Berlin trio Grey Paris presents songs, alive with intricate rhythmic elements, and an understated move-like ambiance. Their compositions carry the lister with undulating ideas through acoustic soundscapes as if in a synaesthetic experience.
Influenced by artists such as E.S.T.. Gogo Penguin, Nils Frahm, and Brandt Brauer Frick, the music of Grey Paris is a mixture of propulsive grooves and meditation-inaction.

The Trio, consisting of piano, bass, drums, and a sophisticated system of live electronics, has collaborated since 2016 and has released 2 albums and several singles. They have played numerous concerts and festivals locally and internationally (including Smida Jazz Festival (RO), 19th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival (awarded Best Newcomer Jazzband 2019), Jazz in the Park Competition Romania (Best Club Band Award), Piano Day (DE), Kantine am Berghain, B-flat, and B’jazz Burghausen, to name a few).

Grey Paris zieht sein Publikum in einen akustischen Trip aus treibenden Drums, Bass, Piano und elektronisch-cinematischen Effekten.
Das Berliner Trio Grey Paris präsentiert Songs voller vertrackter rhythmischer Elemente und minimalistischer, filmähnlicher Atmosphäre. In ihren Kompositionentragen sie die Zuhörer mit immer neuen Ideen durch akustische Klangwelten wie in einem synästhetisch wahrgenommenen Erlebnis.

Das Trio, bestehend aus Piano, Bass, Drums und einem ausgefeilten System aus Live-Electronics, besteht seit 2016 und hat bisher 2 Alben und mehrere Singles veröffentlicht. Es hat zahlreiche Konzerte und Festivals im In- und Ausland gespielt (u.a. Nach dem Album „Medea“ und der folgenden Tour in 2019 haben Grey Paris die Zeit der Konzert-Pause 2020/21 intensiv genutzt um sich konzeptuell weiterzuentwickeln und neue Stücke zu schreiben.
